Jen & Ken's Dreamy Summer Vineyard Wedding - Starling Lane Vineyard, Victoria BC

Jen and Ken got married on a perfect summer day in August. Their ceremony was at one of the most beautiful locations I've been lucky enough to photograph, Starling Lane Vineyard (formerly Starling Lane Winery) in Saanich, BC on Vancouver Island. Starling Lane is a gorgeous property with a vineyard, apple orchards, a rose garden and a rustic white greenhouse which makes it an amazing venue for wedding photography. 

Jen and Ken have such a comfortable kind of love. They were friends long before they fell in love and just by hanging around them for 5 minutes, you can tell that these two were made for each other. After traveling the world together for a year (and not killing each other) they knew this was the real thing. 

Everything about this wedding was stunning. From Jen's amazing backless dress, to all of the greenery in the bouquets, and the heartwarming speeches from Jen & Ken's families. Even the tears shed were beautiful! I'm so grateful to Jen & Ken for hiring me for their wedding in Victoria, BC and trusting me all the way from Calgary. I love photographing intimate weddings and elopements on Vancouver Island and to be able to photograph one at this beautiful vineyard & winery is really special for me. So thank you again for including me as part of your amazing day.
