Grotto Canyon
I think my sister and I are starting a new tradition. Thursday adventures with our not-so-little prince, Hudson! We have lots of hiking plans for next summer and Hudson needs to be there to scare of the bears or at least learn how to pose for a photo... haha. For our latest adventure we took a trip to Grotto Canyon in Kananaskis. The last time we went to Canmore we tried to come here but the snow wasn't cleared and we would have had no idea where the trailhead was. But we didn't have any trouble finding it this time! The only difficulty was trying to keep Hudson from freezing his little paws off in the creek. He also had the best wipeout I've seen yet when he went skidding down an icy path and somersaulted into Danielle's feet. This time Marisa also joined us and was subjected to my usual antics... go stand over there, flip your hair over your shoulder, etc etc. I'm pretty lucky to have such willing subjects that let me play around with the camera on them. The frozen waterfalls were pretty cool to witness and there were a couple people doing some ice climbing which looks pretty sketchy to me, but to each their own I guess! Can't wait for the next outing... Enjoy!
